3-day Motorbike tour: Highlights of Ha Giang (Ha Giang Loop)

You start the trip at 7:30 p.m by taking an overnight bus or limousine bus to Ha Giang. The bus driver will pick you up at your hotel. It takes about 7 hours to get to the city so you will arrive early in the morning.

In the morning, we will start our ride from Ha Giang city to Quan Ba town. Along the way, you can enjoy the incredible view of Minh Tan village and Bac Sum Pass. Riding a motorbike along this way, you will be treated with the boundless natural landscapes while enjoying the cool and refreshing air. We reach Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate which is located about 50 km north of Ha Giang city, this is also the gateway to Dong Van geological park. Moreover, you will be impressed by the beautiful legend about Twin Mountains.

In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to Yen Minh town and some spectacular passes as Tham Ma Pass and Nine Circle Pass. They are probably challenging for riders, but in return you will surely be rewarded with the breathtaking views. The life of people in more remote parts of Ha Giang is clearly portrayed when we drive through the villages of Pho Cao and Sung La. After that we continue to Sa Phin to visit Hmong King palace. It is the castle of H’mong King in the early 20th century with gigantic size as well as magnificence and unique design. In the evening, we rest, have dinner and stay overnight at a Minority House in Lung Cu village.

Attraction, villages & Town: Ha Giang – Minh Tan Village – Bac Sum Pass – Quyet Tien Village – Quan Ba Pass – Heaven Gate – Twin Mountain – Yen Minh Town – Tham Ma Pass – Pho Cao Village – Nine Circle Pass – Sung La Village – Hmong King palace - Lung Cu Village.

After breakfast you will have time to vist Northest poit of Vietnam, China border and Lung Cu flag tower. Afterwards, Heading to Dong Van town, we make few stops for admiring the scenery and taking some photos of the Ma Pi Leng pass – the most hazardous road section in the Dong Van Karst Plateau, where the terrain is exceptionally steep, rugged and rocky. And then we will take a short trek to the boat station at Nho Que river, we have an hour to take the boat trip to see the Tu San canyon. In the evening, you have dinner and overnight at a Minority House in Pa Vi village.

Attraction, villages & Town: Northest point of Vietnam - Lung Cu flag tower -  Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que river - Tu San canyon - Pa Vi village (Meo Vac town)

You can spend the morning walking around old town and local markets by yourselves (if today is sunday). Our ride continues towards Lung Phin village to visit Lung Phin Market (if today is Lung Phin's market day). The market is not only where the locals meet but also a gathering place for the Mong and many other ethnic minorities living in Dong Van. After that, we will be on our way to Mau Due town, we will stop at M-shaped crabs. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant in Du Gia Village with local people. Then continue the scenic ride back to Ha Giang where the tour ends around 6:00 p.m. Overnight bus to Hanoi.
